More Paper Flower Eggs

because one just isn't enough

I made a couple versions of Paper Flower Eggs
or is it "flowered paper eggs"  or "papered flowered eggs"  or "eggs that are papered with flowers" or "papery flowery eggies"... I think I like that one the best!  :)

Version 1 uses styrofoam eggs & pins--
about 100 pins per egg

i got a lot of use out of this flower paper punch!
see HERE for the full detail and tutorial link

and a close-up of some of the eggs.

Version 2 is kid-friendly and doesn't use any pins at all--
just plastic eggs covered in tissue paper & paper flowers

{materials needed}
plastic eggs | modge podge | sponge applicator | tissue paper cut in strips | decorative paper
not pictured:  my flower paper punch and hot glue gun

decoupaging the egg.  as you can tell, it doesn't need to be "perfect".
i didn't like the shiny plastic showing through, so i chose to cover the eggs with tissue paper strips and sealed them with modge podge.  it also helped to tone down the bright egg colors.

i glued on the flowers using a hot glue gun, but any type of glue will work.

here's a close-up of some of the eggs
(a little hard to tell in the pic, but the middle one is my monogram)

And if you're still looking for ideas, here are a few more egg creations from years past--

Hope you're having an awesome week!
